I sometimes appear to be a little bit shy, but not when it comes to playing in the Noga Quartet! We have been playing together for nine years now, and we have studied and worked intensively over that time. By spending the time we do rehearsing, we’re able to focus on the subtle colours and details in the music we play. I feel we are able to make the music live, and I love sharing our insights and feelings though the music we play.
I began my musical training at the École Nationale de Musique in Quimper, France. After graduating I went to Paris and trained at the Conservatoire National as a soloist and chamber player. From 2007 until 2009 I was a scholar in the Berliner Philharmoniker’s Orchestra Academy (working with Thomas Timm), and afterwards studied with Antje Weithaas at the Hanns Eisler Musikhochschule in Berlin. I have participated in various masterclasses, including with Ulf Hoelscher and the Wanderer Trio.
